CMCP801 Eddy Probe Holder

The CMCP801 Probe Holder is designed for the external mounting of proximity probes as described and recommended by API-670. External (through the case) mounting allows for the easy removal, inspection, and adjustment of the proximity probe as opposed to internal mounting where the bearing cap or cover needs to be removed prior to inspection.

The CMCP801 Probe Holder is available in various lengths and has an adjustment range of plus or minus 1" (2.54 cm), 2" (5.08 cm) overall adjustment). When ordering, the insertion depth should be measured, or calculated, and the closest standard length selected. The broad adjustment range will allow for any discrepancies. In some cases Probe Holders are ordered in their longest length and cut in the field when the machine is open and available for measurements.

All machined parts of the CMCP801 Probe Holder are made of 316 Stainless Steel. The outlet body and extension are cast aluminum. The outlet body is provided with four (4) 3/4" NPT Hubs and is rated for Class 1 and 2, Division A, B, C and D.

As the Probe Holder uses 3/4" NPT entry into the machine case standoff's, if required, can easily be constructed using readily available 3/4" pipe and pipe fittings.
