Mounting Brackets are used when installing eddy probes (proximity probes) internally in the machine. They may be mounted directly to the side of radial bearings using two (2) 10-32 or M5 1/4"-28 Cap Screws. The brackets are 1/2" High x 1" Wide x 1" Deep (12.7 x 25.4 x 25.4 mm). The eddy probe mounting hole is offset 3/4" or 1/4" (19.05 or 6.35 mm) depending on the mounting direction of the block relative to the bearing. Tightening the mounting bolts applies a positive lock to the eddy probe preventing movement of the probe after mounting. These mounting blocks are available for 1/4"-28 UNF, 3/8"-24 UNF probe body threads. Since these mounting blocks are manufactured from Aluminum, they may be easily machined in the field as required during installation.
